Branch Compensation Executes timely and accurate branch compensation which includes, Commissions, Trimester Bonus, FA P&L, branch expenses, Travel Award Program, and all other elements of Financial Advisor compensationEvolves branch compensation processes and systems to be efficient, effective, scalable, and flexibleEnsures compensation expense is accurately reflected on the financial statements.Partners with HR, Client Transition, Branch Development, Branch Real Estate, and other team to influence decision making which impact Compensation, Profitability and Expense Programs.Provides service to the branch that is consistent with firm standards for an ideal branch experienceResponsible for timely and accurate compensation for Client Transition programs to ensure financial integrity of the compensation program.Understand financial impacts and asset sharing policies in order to collaborate with Stakeholders on decisions and compensation plan approval.Build relationships and collaborate with department stakeholders to ensure work that flows between teams, departments, and divisions is completed timely and accuratelyCollaborate with the digital product team on automation opportunities.Provide adequate service to our branch teams, service areas, and internal stakeholdersEnsure adequate controls are in place and operating effectively.Complete monthly journal entries and GL account reconciliations to ensure all Compensation related expense is accurately reflected on the Firm's Financial Statements.Understand upstream and downstream impacts to decisions being made to evolve a process, make an exception, assess a production issue, etc.Identify and implement process improvements.Provide coverage across the team as needed.Minimum Years of Experience Required 5+ years experience in compensation or business related positionDegree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field requiredFinancial services industry experience preferredProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Proficient in Peoplesoft and Business Intelligence Tools preferredGeneral knowledge of accounting practices and principlesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to identify and implement necessary controlsAbility to retrieve and analyze data from multiple sourcesAbility to solve problems, recommend and implement solutionsAbility to exercise influence without authority100 Best Workplaces for Millennials in 2022, published Fortune July 2022, Great Places to Work - data as of March 2022.
