Commercial Construction Kansas City, MO Our client, a leading HVAC
(Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) contractor based in
Kansas City, is seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial HVAC
Foreman to join their team and play a crucial role in managing our
HVAC tenant improvement and new construction projects. With a
strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer
satisfaction, this contractor has established themselves as a
trusted provider of commercial HVAC services in the region. As a
Commercial HVAC Foreman, you will be responsible for leading and
overseeing the installation of HVAC systems in commercial and
industrial settings. You will ensure that projects are completed on
time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and
quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise a team of HVAC
technicians and tradespeople, providing guidance, training, and
support to ensure successful project execution. Manage and
coordinate all aspects of commercial HVAC projects, from planning
and scheduling to completion. Interpret project plans,
specifications, and blueprints to guide the team in system
installations and modifications. Coordinate material and equipment
procurement to ensure the availability of necessary resources for
project completion. Conduct on-site inspections and quality control
to ensure work meets industry standards and customer requirements.
Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working
environment for all team members and adherence to all relevant
regulations. Communicate regularly with project managers, clients,
and other stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and
resolve issues. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as
necessary to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.
Maintain accurate project records, including time and material
logs, as well as documentation for client invoicing. Assist in
estimating and budgeting for new projects, providing input on
labor, material, and equipment requirements. Stay current with
industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the
highest level of service quality. Qualifications: A minimum of 5
years of experience in commercial HVAC installation with at least 2
years in a supervisory or foreman role. Sheet metal journeyman
level or relevant trade license is preferred. Strong knowledge of
HVAC systems, equipment, and components. Excellent leadership and
team management skills. Proficiency in reading and interpreting
blueprints and technical documents. Solid understanding of safety
regulations and best practices in the HVAC industry. Effective
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work
independently, problem-solve, and make sound decisions. Valid
driver's license with a clean driving record. Willingness to work
flexible hours and travel to job sites as needed.
