Department: Communication Disorders, School of Human
Services
Position Overview: The Communication Disorders Program at the
University of Central Missouri (UCM) in Warrensburg invites
applications for a 9-month, tenure faculty, assistant professor
faculty member (speech-language pathology) with an expected start
date of August 2022. Summer teaching may be available. Preferred
area of expertise is dysphagia and voice; however, the position is
open for all areas of emphasis for exceptional candidates.
Responsibilities include:
* Clinical supervision of student clinicians onsite
* Undergraduate and/or graduate teaching
* Mentoring undergraduate/graduate research
* Discipline-based scholarship
* Providing service to the program, university, and discipline
Qualifications:
* Possess a Ph. D. or Ed.D. degree with an emphasis in
Speech-Language Pathology
* Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language
Pathology (CCC-SLP) for a minimum of 9-months prior to
employment.
* Hold or be eligible to obtain Missouri licensure
