Job Description:

A company is looking for a Deputy Engineering Task Lead.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Team Lead in providing direction and guidance to other engineers
Perform project management duties, such as reporting the status of Engineering projects, and Engineering accomplishments to leadership
Develop, implement, and support data collection and processing solutions in a large, distributed environment

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent experience plus 7 years of experience in network, server, or security engineering
A deep understanding of enterprise networking, server, and storage architecture
Several years of experience in designing, building, troubleshooting, and supporting solutions that leverage Linux servers
Proficiency with cloud provider technologies such as AWS EC2, EBS, RDS, S3, IAM (or equivalent for other cloud providers)
Knowledge of IP security implementation, multi-vendor IPS/IDS (Zeek, Suricata, SNORT), URL filtering), and SOC tools (SIEM, SOAR)
