ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
MP's Client is a premier manufacturer of custom blended, packaged, dry food products and seasonings. Our client is owned and operated by the Jungk family. Established in 1988, their combined three generations of experience in the food industry have garnered reliance from food and marketing companies worldwide.
With a highly acclaimed Research and Innovation lab in Overland Park, Kansas and a state of the art production facility in Concordia, MO, our client works with their customers to bring the best to the table every time. They are searching for a Plant Manager for the Concordia, MO facility.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Plant Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a dry blending and Consumer Packaged Goods production facility, producing custom spice blends and other packaged goods for the clients' valued customers. The Plant Manager provides leadership in all aspects of the business regarding personnel, safety, quality, service, cost, productivity, equipment maintenance, and engineering projects.

WHO YOU ARE:
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in consumer-packaged goods manufacturing, culture change management, leading continuous improvement programs, creating organizational structure to support key business priorities and developing key leaders to run the daily operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs, develops, and implements a proactive safety culture with the goal of a zero-injury workplace
Provides leadership that yields inclusion and engagement of all team members in the plant to achieve targets and improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Environment and Culture
Oversees development of and implementation of capital plans related to production improvement, repair, maintenance, and expansion
Manages and/or provides appropriate support for functions such as accounting/finance, human resources, quality, scheduling, information technology
Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing effectiveness of operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements

WHAT YOU NEED:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Min. 10 years of demonstrated leadership in food manufacturing operations
Min. 5 years of experience in a Consumer packaged goods (CPGs) environment
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for food manufacturing plant
Continuous Improvement program implementation experience

Location: Concordia, MO
Full-time/Exempt
Monday - Friday -24/7 plant operation
Compensation: starts around $130k plus bonus incentives
