: Chief Operating Officer (COO)Description: Provides strategic
leadership and oversight of all non-instructional operations and
ensures that operational functions-including facilities,
transportation, safety, nutrition, and student services-efficiently
support the academic mission and promote student success.Reports to

Master's degree in education or related field required; doctorate
preferred.--- Minimum of 5 years of experience in school or
district-level leadership.--- Missouri Principal and/or
Superintendent certification preferred.--- Previous leadership
experience within Frontier Schools preferred.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:Chief Operating Officer to perform the following
duties and responsibilities:
1. Mission-Aligned Leadership--- Embrace and promote the mission,
vision, and core values of Frontier Schools in all operational
practices.--- Provide visionary leadership in the planning and
execution of operational functions that support academic excellence
and student success.2. Oversight of Operational Departments--- Lead
and supervise all non-instructional departments, including:o
Student recruitment, enrollment, and attendanceo Transportation
serviceso Facilities maintenance and custodial serviceso Child
nutrition and food serviceso School safety and emergency
preparednesso Student health and wellness services--- Ensure
high-quality, efficient, and compliant operations across all
campuses.3. Strategic Planning and Compliance--- Develop short- and
long-range operational goals aligned with the district's strategic
priorities.--- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state,
and federal regulations governing operational services.--- Conduct
regular needs assessments and data reviews to drive continuous
improvement of operational systems.4. Student Recruitment,
Enrollment, and Retention--- Direct district-wide student
recruitment and enrollment campaigns to meet enrollment targets and
demographic goals.--- Monitor and analyze enrollment and attendance
trends; recommend strategies to improve student retention and ADA
(Average Daily Attendance).--- Ensure equitable and transparent
admission and dismissal practices in accordance with board policy
and state law.5. Health, Safety, and Nutrition--- Oversee the
development and implementation of student health protocols,
immunization compliance, and wellness initiatives.--- Ensure school
safety and emergency response plans are current, practiced, and
compliant with safety standards.--- Manage compliance and quality
control of all child nutrition programs under state and federal
guidelines.6. Facilities and Transportation--- Supervise the
operation and maintenance of all school facilities to ensure they
are clean, safe, and conducive to learning.--- Oversee custodial
and maintenance scheduling, staffing, and quality standards across
all buildings.--- Direct transportation logistics, including
routing, scheduling, safety, and compliance with state and federal
regulations.7. Operational Support for Instructional Goals---
Ensure that all operational departments function in a manner that
supports instructional goals, minimizes disruptions to learning,
and contributes to a positive school environment.--- Collaborate
with the Chief Academic Officer and principals to align operational
priorities with academic needs.8. Data, Reporting, and Budget
Management--- Prepare and present operational performance reports
to the Superintendent and Board of Directors as required.---
Monitor department budgets and work with the Finance Department to
ensure efficient use of resources.--- Lead cost analysis and
process optimization efforts to improve operational efficiency and
sustainability.9. Collaboration and Campus Support--- Conduct
regular visits to school campuses to monitor the effectiveness and
consistency of operations.--- Serve as a liaison between school
leadership and central office departments to coordinate responsive
support services.--- Respond to operational concerns from
principals and staff in a timely and solutions-focused manner.10.
