Function as a staff physician in the Department of Neurology.
Duties
at KUMC will involve assisting in the general neurology
clinics,
hospital rounds, teaching medical students and neurology
residents,
and fellows. Job Description:
- Be part of the Neurology program at the medical school.
- Supervise neurology residents and medical students. This will
include supervision of residents in the hospital wards, and in the
general neurology and headache clinics.
- Generally, resident continuity clinic supervision is once a
month.
- Teach medical students on the wards and in clinic, and provide
occasional lectures to medical students.
- Pursue scholarly activity in the areas of headache
medicine.
- See patients in the outpatient headache neurology
clinic.Required Qualifications:
- MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent
- Neurology Residency
- Eligible for Kansas medical licenseWe provide:
