Join this 36 Bed Unit where we see high acuity patients with
alcohol withdraw, stoke, diabetes DKA, insulin drips, Mis, Cath Lab
post stint or stemi, & trauma patients. We offer an amazing PCU+
program for those with 6 months experience that are interested in
cross training to ICU. Sign On Bonus Offered for eligible
candidates for FT Days at $12,000 on Medical Surgical, Telemetry,
Cardiac & Progressive Care Units and can not be combined with other
bonuses or HCA Loan/Scholarships.
$5,000 Relocation Bonus offered for those more than 50 miles from
our hospitals

The HCA Nurse Residency Program at Centerpoint Medical Center
provides you with the tools necessary to succeed in today's
hospital environment. Advanced clinical training in a specialty
area.
Preceptorship training with a facility preceptor.
Working collaboratively on an evidence-based practice project.
The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality,
patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific
requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and
standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In
collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care
team, the RN Resident provides individualized, comprehensive, and
compassionate care using established nursing models such as
"Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The RN Resident serves as an
advocate for patients, families and caregivers to support an
unparalleled patient experience.
Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as
scheduled, identifying and reporting any changes in patient
status.
Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by
the medical provider(s). Document the administration of care in the
patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
Perform exceptional care by responding promptly to patient
requests. Teach patients, families and caregivers about patient
medical condition, patient status, treatment plan, medications and
possible side effects, and follow-up measures. Translates complex
medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, must be completed by
start date. -
Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State, you have
90 days from graduation date to pass NCLEX, therefore may start
your New Graduate Nurse position if you prefer
Some travel maybe needed for training, you will remain local to
Kansas City
