Antepartum Care and Procedures: NST (Non Stress Tests), Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Sterile vaginal exam, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring). Postpartum Care and Procedures: Baby friendly protocols, Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Foley Catheter insertion, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Use of Electric/Manual breast pump, Wound Assessment and Care. Postpartum Care of the Patient with: Bladder Distension, Cesarean Section, Couplet Care, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Vaginal Delivery. Surgical Case/Procedures: D & C, Tubal Ligation. Pain Management: Epidural Anesthesia, General Anesthesia, Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Use of PCA (IV).
