Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Kansas City, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,887 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - MO RN License - BLS Description: Unit Profile: Number of Beds: 49 Patient Ratios: 1:5 Unit staffing description: 1 Unit Secretary, 5 PCTs on Days, 3 PCTs on Nights Type of equipment: Welch Allen / Dynamap VS machines, bladder scanner, Hoyer lift, Sara Steady, wound vacs Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 12-hour shifts, 3 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule period Floating policy: Same as facility policy Patient Experience requirements: We make personal connections with all of our patients. Engagement practices include AIDET, bedside shift report, and hourly rounding. Procedures performed include IVs, Foley catheters, external urinary catheters, wound care, post-operative care, trach care, NG tubes, and feeding tubes. Dress Code: Navy blue scrub top, navy or black scrub pant. Undershirt and/or scrub jacket, if worn, must be navy, white, or black. No sweatshirts or track jackets allowed.
