We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Doctor for a 42-day locum tenens assignment in Kansas starting Feb 9, 2026. This position offers a flexible schedule of 7-14 day or night shifts per month, with 12-hour shifts from 6a-6p or 6p-6a. Candidates must be board certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine and hold an active Kansas license. Job Details - Location: Kansas - Start Date: Feb 9, 2026 - LOA: 42 days - Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Doctor - Schedule: 7-14 shifts per month; day or night shifts (6a-6p or 6p-6a) Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions - Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in a timely and efficient manner - Stabilize patients and coordinate transfer when necessary - Collaborate with nurses, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards - Adhere to all protocols and guidelines for emergency medicine practice Additional Information - Active Kansas medical license required - Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine required - Certifications required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) - Prior experience in emergency medicine strongly preferred Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
