– Medical Surgical Location: Kansas City, MO Position Type:
Permanent | Contingent Shifts: Days & Nights | Rotating Weekends
Position Summary The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse provides
high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients with a wide
range of medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurologic conditions.
This role offers exposure to diverse patient populations and
opportunities for continued clinical growth in an acute care
environment. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing
assessments following standards of care and clinical protocols
Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Provide direct patient care and supervise non-licensed nursing
staff within scope of practice Monitor patient conditions and
respond appropriately to changes Educate patients and families
based on age, culture, condition, and needs Collaborate with
physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required
(does not need to be recent) Graduate of an accredited nursing
program (ADN or BSN) Active RN license or multistate compact
license BLS certification required upon hire Additional Information
Specialty units may include Neuro, Ortho, and Nephrology Unit size
approximately 49 beds Nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1 Company
