Job Description:
Job Description The primary function of a Registered Nurse I is
to utilize the nursing process in an acute care setting, where they
are accountable for performing patient care tasks, delegating
responsibilities, supervising other staff members and coordinating
with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Saint
Luke's Hospital Kansas City Magnet Designated Level Trauma facility
caters to a diverse patient population including patients with
heart failure who have undergone pre and post cath lab stress
testing and those experiencing dysrhythmias. In this role, clinical
nurses must demonstrate proficiency in their skills while abiding
by policies rules guidelines procedures. Apart from night shift med
surg RN positions, there are no specific skill requirements
mentioned; however basic life support certification is mandatory.
This enables new graduates as well as experienced nurses to join
our hospital team.
