Association (VNA) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled
Clinical Educator (Educational Nurse) to support both Home Health
and Hospice services. This role provides an exciting opportunity to
make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes, staff competency, and
organizational quality. The Clinical Educator (Educational Nurse)
is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating
education and onboarding programs, delivering expert clinical
knowledge, supporting workflow and informatics initiatives, and
serving as a key clinical resource for staff and leadership. This
position plays a vital role in promoting evidence-based practice,
regulatory compliance, and continuous professional development. Key
Responsibilities & Duties Design, implement, and evaluate
comprehensive education programs for clinical staff across Home
Health, Hospice, and Private Duty services. Lead onboarding and
orientation for new clinical hires, including skills validation and
competency assessments. Provide ongoing education, coaching, and
professional development support for clinical staff. Assess the
effectiveness of educational programs and recommend improvements
based on outcomes and performance data. Serve as a clinical subject
matter expert and resource for staff and leadership. Provide expert
clinical guidance, including wound care education and best
practices. Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practice,
regulatory updates, and industry standards. Serve as a MatrixCare
trainer, providing education and support related to documentation
and workflows. Interpret reports, dashboards, and clinical
scorecards to identify trends and support performance improvement.
Participate in survey preparedness activities, including mock
surveys and staff education. Support community education
initiatives and external partnerships as needed. Qualifications &
Skills Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a Bachelor's degree
in Education, Healthcare, or related field OR Bachelor's or
Master's degree in Nursing. Current, active, and unencumbered
Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 5 years of clinical
nursing experience. Hospice and/or Home Health experience is a
must. Demonstrated experience in staff education, training,
precepting, or clinical instruction. Proficiency in OASIS and EMR
navigation. Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience supporting survey readiness or quality improvement
initiatives preferred. BLS certification required; BLS Instructor
