looking for a compassionate individual wanting to make a difference
for a cliet in South East Kansas City. All caregivers including
males and veterans are encouraged to apply. Benefits Paid Training
Competitive Pay - Responsibilities Provide personal hygiene
assistance for elderly client by attending to their basic needs,
such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating Help clients take
prescribed medication Use a Hoyer lift for transfers Perform
housekeeping duties Report any unusual incidents or change in
client's health status Act quickly and responsibly in cases of
emergency Offer activities that are essential for daily living by
assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other
tasks, if necessary Qualifications Enjoy working in a one-on-one
setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills Ability
to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with the physical capability to
perform job-related duties Must be proficient in use of a Hoyer
lift to make transfers Valid driver’s license and reliable
transportation every single day Ability to act in a compassionate
and supportive manner Prior experience in healthcare, in-home care
environment or caregiving Willingness to enforce health and safety
standards High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a
Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program Take pride in
providing high-quality care Must have a valid drivers license and
reliable transportation Reliable, punctual, dependable SERIOUS
