Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Topeka, KS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,633 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/25/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years minimum preferred License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous travel experience preferred Float requirement; some weekends required Description: The position is for a night shift registered nurse specializing in medical surgical care. This role includes providing care for stable remote telemetry monitored patients. Nurses will be responsible for managing various conditions and illnesses. Experience in telemetry and remote monitoring is necessary. Candidates should have skills in accessing and managing ports, blood product administration, and starting and maintaining IVs. Wound care and management experience are essential. Knowledge of interpreting arterial blood gases is required. The nurse will work in an interdisciplinary environment with support from therapy and medical teams. Floating to similar units is expected based on facility needs.
