We are a medically supervised wellness center in Leawood, KS that includes modalities for both inner wellness and outer beauty. Our age management care includes comprehensive consultations with extensive diagnostic testing to include bio-markers for metabolic and hormone deficiencies as well as evaluating for the accepted markers of disease risk. A customized treatment plan is formulated to meet each patient's individual needs with emphasis on preventative measures, proper nutrition and supplementation, weight management and efficient exercise. We incorporate the use of bio-identical hormones when appropriate to optimize energy, strength, stamina, sexual functioning, cognitive thinking, physique, memory and overall quality of life. We stock a wide variety of high quality supplements for anyone to take advantage of. Our skin care treatments utilize the most advanced and effective platforms available. Our gold standard laser platform, aids in hair removal and brown spot removal. We utilize the next generation in dermabrasion and skin care with our HydraFacial MD system, micro-needling pen, and broad range of chemical peels. Our Venus Viva is the only NanoFractional Radio Frequency device available, which offers innovative treatment methods for facial rejuvenation solutions that deal with skin laxity, texture, lines and wrinkles. We also offer Botox, Xeomin and various injectable fillers to include Bellafill, which is the longest lasting filler on the market. Responsibilities Set up rooms for medical and injectable procedures Administer various injections Monitor, address and document patients' conditions Operate medical equipment Clean medical instruments and equipment Keep up-to-date technically and educationally and apply new knowledge to the job Inform patients and clients about services and products we offer Schedule and confirm patient appointments Organize and update and electronic medical records Operate office equipment, such as voice mail messaging systems and copier and use Microsoft Office products or other software applications for necessary tasks Record patients' medical information and vital signs Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained Record and relay patient messages to appropriate physician Ensure patient requests/concerns are responded to and resolved Submit new prescriptions and current prescription refills Monitor and respond to patient emails Education and Experience Associate or higher college degree Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse 2+ years nursing experience Skills Computer/Technology aptitude is a major piece of the puzzle that will determine if a candidate is suitable for the position. We use a variety of programs that require an above average proficiency Communicating effectively may be the most important requirement for this position. Ability to construct grammatically correct sentences is equally important since composing email messages will be a daily task Controlling emotions effectively Performing well under stress Showing empathy under all circumstances Working well in a team Communicating clearly and effectively both verbally and written Actively looking for ways to help people Time management Organization Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do Problem identification and resolution Meticulousness Compensation and Benefits This is a full-time position with an hourly wage based on applicant's experience level/skill set. We also offer 5 PTO days after 90 day probationary period. An additional day per month is given until 10 PTO total is accumulated. 10 PTO days would reset after each employment year, with the ability to rollover 5 unused PTO days to the following year. Health insurance may be made available after the probationary period. Family can be added to plan at employee cost. Employees are eligible to take part in Simple IRA/401(k) after 1 year.
