Registered Nurse (RN) - Breast Care Patient Coordinator - PRN
(PRN position 2-3 shifts per week as needed - 8 hour shifts)

The Registered Nurse Breast Care Patient Coordinator s erves as a
hospital ambassador from a patient's first contact to completion of
treatment for coordination of care and education of
Imaging/Oncology services through and between treatment modalities
under the direction of the Radiology Director and collaborates with
the Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining nursing competencies. The
Registered Nurse Breast Care Patient Coordinator provides
therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care and
follow-up cares for the patient and family, and in support of the
mission of Centerpoint Medical Center. The Registered Nurse Breast
Care Patient Coordinator collaborates with the radiologist and
primary care physician in provision of comprehensive and
multidisciplinary care for the patient and family. The Registered
Nurse Breast Care Patient Coordinator manages services throughout
the continuum of care, decreasing fragmentation of care while
promoting patient's physical, mental, and spiritual health. The
Registered Nurse Breast Care Patient Coordinator in Radiology has
current broad knowledge of the assessment, treatment and care
techniques and principles relevant to growth and development of
adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
This is PRN (as needed) position that can work possibly 2-3 PRN
shifts per week. 8 hour shifts can be either 7am-3:30pm or

Minimum Requirements :
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN degree preferred
or MSN degree preferred.
Must hold a current license from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
BCLS and ACLS required.
Two years experience in Oncology or Imaging Services. Prior
experience in a similar size facility with similar services
provided is preferred. Patient navigation and/or nursing education
in Oncology or Imaging Services preferred.
