The Organizational Consultant II will work as a strategic partner with our business HR team and managers across the firm to better enable associates and managers to effectively contribute to our firm's strategy and business plan. Organizational Consulting role is to:

  • Review business priorities and diagnose business needs to create/support the HR Transformation with a particular emphasis on HR process and service design.
  • Utilize the full set of organization development, project management, design-thinking, and process design tools and methods.Key Responsibilities
    • Consult and collaborate with Human Resources colleagues and business managers to diagnose business needs and create/support targeted interventions including service design, organization design, team effectiveness, strategy formulation and strategic execution, change management and leadership
    • Apply a systems diagnostic model to understand issues and the component parts of an effective operating model: strategy and business direction, value streams structure, management mechanisms, talent, people processes, culture and system alignment, etc.
    • Assess organization's capacity for change
    • Direct large-scale transformation initiative workstreams and apply a systematic approach to establishing the approach, planning, coordination and execution of the service and process redesign workstream.
    • Integrate leadership development processes, skill building, coaching, etc. into broader HR transformation initiatives.
    • Create and manage work plans, communication, and risk escalation to support HR transformation
    • Provide thought leadership and practical application of research and best practices in HR service design and delivery, process redesign, human centered design, and change management solutionsQualifications Required in the Job:
      • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field is preferred
      • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in an internal or external consulting role with senior managers and Human Resources colleagues to diagnose needs and develop/implement service delivery, human centered design, process design
      • Significant understanding and experience in the core organization development processes, including workforce planning, organizational design, leadership development, change management, strategy analysis, as well as some of the talent management processes, e.g., performance management, succession planning, competency modeling, selection & assessment, learning & development
      • Significant experience coaching and influencing leaders
      • Exceptional understanding of HRIS/HCM and the ability to translate process and service needs into technical requirements
      • Proven facilitation and communication skills and experience facilitating and leading senior leaders through change, future state design and process considerations
      • Moderate understanding of project-management tools and experience in mid to large scale projects
      • PHR/SPHR Certification a plus
      • Prosci/ACMP certification and Six Sigma, Human-Centered Design and/or Service Design experience encouraged

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:
