long-term individual investors. Fixed Income Underwriter 1 ---
Price and market competitive co-managed municipal underwritings and
assist with lead/sole-managed deals --- Effectively identify
capital commitment opportunities in the new issue market and manage
the risk associated with low to moderate retail-structured
municipal bonds. --- Ensure compliance with all policies and
procedures to meet firm and regulatory requirements. --- Improve
client service excellence delivery, identifying trends and best
practices accordingly, in alignment with human centered complete
wealth management --- Effectively communicate and collaborate with
all parties associated with a competitive underwriting syndicate by
giving feedback on new issue scales --- Advanced application of
capital markets analytics, including economic and credit impacts
--- Effective application of underwriting systems and related tools
(for example, IPREO , Bloomberg, and 3 rd party electronic trading
platforms ) --- Advanced ability to understand, evaluate and
appropriately respond to changing market conditions and industry
trends --- Advanced application of internal and external trading
systems and related tools, including testing, troubleshooting, and
development where appropriate --- Provide general training and
guidance to other traders, including product, service, systems, and
regulatory insights, on the team level --- Build the depth and
breadth of internal networks across key stakeholders to support
trading floor initiatives and align with broader firm efforts ---
Improve operational excellence initiatives to scale the quantity
and quality of individual security workflows B.A./B.S. degree in
business, economics, finance, or quantitative related field ---
Successful completion of Trader I responsibilities or equivalent
industry experience --- 3 years capital markets (underwriting,
investment banking, or trading) experience required. --- CFP, MBA,
CFA, CPA or working towards designation(s) preferred --- Series 7
and 66 required; additional desk specific licenses are required
within 6 months (based on corresponding testing windows) FORTUNE
