Job Description:

Shift - 7AM - 7PM or 7PM - 7AM ($2 more/hour for Nights)

Pay Rate: $19.08/HR

City, State: Chillicothe, MO

While reporting to the Supervisor, as a Skilled Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating all manufacturing equipment. Safety, quality, productivity and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Responsible for the proper operation of the extrusion/thermoforming line.
* Must demonstrate working knowledge of plant processing equipment and have an aptitude for problem solving.
* Must be able to properly set-up, startup, operate and shutdown all production equipment.
* Will troubleshoot and correct processing problems.
* Record and share information with other team members to maintain quality and machine efficiencies.
* Performs quality audits.
* Relieve inspector/packers.
* Coordinate line requirements with other departments (Maintenance, Material Handling, and QA).
* Must be proficient on all paperwork
* Other duties as requested by Supervisor

* 2 years of manufacturing experience


* Ability to read, write, and perform math skills


* Understanding of manufacturing and quality control
