The Donor Relations Student Assistant will assist the Annual Giving and Donor Relations Team in raising awareness of fundraising efforts on campus and with donors, managing video thank you messages (distributed through "ThankView"), and planning and executing donor stewardship events during Homecoming, Giving Impact Week, Evening of Appreciation, and more.

The selected candidate will contribute to researching donor stories, identifying high-impact student stories, writing video and social media content and cultivating positive relationships with faculty and staff.

Skills in photography, video editing/ producing, and Canva design are highly preferred, but not required.

Responsible for:

  • ThankView content creation (script writing, video, and photo editing)
  • Giving Impact Week content creation (writing, video, and photo editing)
  • Running events on Student Experience and Philanthropy Day
  • Assist with planning and executing donor events of various sizes and scales including Homecoming, Giving Impact Week, Founders Day and Evening of Appreciation
  • Giving Day support
    • Video requests for support
    • Video thank you messages
    • Running giving power hours
    • Create promotional materials
    • Social Media Content #WhyIGiveWednesday
    • Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Director of Annual Giving or Donor Relations Coordinator Posting Date

            High school diploma or equivalent

            Computer Skills

            Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Desktop Publishing

            Experience
