seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead and optimize
enterprise procurement and supplier management solutions across
complex business environments. This role is responsible for driving
end-to-end process improvements, business process optimization,
solution integration, and strategic alignment of procurement
operations. The ideal candidate will provide architectural
leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure
consistent delivery of scalable and efficient solutions that meet
evolving business needs. The role involves both project leadership
and hands-on support to ensure operational excellence in
procurement and sourcing functions.Duties and Responsibilities
- Procurement Solution Architecture: Design and guide the
implementation of end-to-end procurement and sourcing solutions
that align with enterprise standards, support strategic objectives,
and ensure seamless process integration across procurement,
inventory, and supplier management domains.
- Process Optimization & Governance: Identify, design, and drive
improvements in procurement-related business processes through
collaboration with Finance, Operations, and IT teams. Facilitate
workshops and lead discovery sessions to translate business needs
into optimized solutions.
- Integration Strategy & Oversight: Lead integration efforts
between procurement platforms and other enterprise systems,
ensuring consistency, data accuracy, and scalability across the
solution landscape. Manage integration testing and support user
acceptance activities.
- Operational Excellence & Support Leadership: Provide
architectural guidance and support for day-to-day procurement
operations. Deliver process documentation and user enablement
resources. Foster best practices adoption and continuous
improvement initiatives.
- Project & Stakeholder Management: Lead or support project
execution within defined scope, timelines, and budgets. Serve as a
key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams,
ensuring alignment, risk management, and high-quality
delivery.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business
Administration, or related field; advanced degrees or
certifications in solution architecture or procurement systems are
a plus.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise
procurement or sourcing solutions in large-scale
organizations.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes,
supplier lifecycle management, and inventory operations.
- Experience in working across hybrid environments with both
cloud-based and on-premise components.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into
scalable, integrated solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
ability to lead cross-functional teams and present to executive
audiences.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a
proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Experience with solution implementation methodologies (Agile,
Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Experience in leading or contributing to enterprise ERP
transformation initiatives.
- SAP ECC, OpenText, and Ariba experience are a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to
