Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and the generic and unit structure standards. The Registered Nurse in this department provides care for adolescent patients age 16 and up, young adult patients age 18-39, adult patients age 40-64, and geriatric patients age 65 and older. The Graduate Nurse for our new 4 South Trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit will also be responsible for floating to our Progressive Care Unit, our general Intensive Care Unit and there will also be overflow Telemetry patients on the 4 South Trauma Surgical ICU. Qualifications Qualifications: Graduation from a school of nursing with either a Diploma, ADN or BSN Must obtain Missouri RN license before training class begins or prior to preceptor training. BLS certification ACLS certification with 6 months – 1 year.
