Job Description:

CEVA Logistics is hiring a CDL A Local Dry Van Driver in Kansas City, MO. This is a union position with various shifts available Monday – Friday with weekends available but not required. The driver will transport automotive parts to and from specified destinations in the Kansas City area. All freight is no touch and delivered in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with State and Federal DOT regulations and all Transportation Security Administration requirements. Home Daily - Weekends Off - No Touch FreightCompensation:

  • Pay varies by shift
    • Day shift Hourly rate: $24/hr
    • Night shift hourly rate: $24.20
    • Weekend Shift: $25.00
    • 11-12 hours worked per day
      • OT pay after 40 hours
      • Bonuses:
        • $3,000 sign on bonus
        • Driver Referral Bonus: $1,000 per driver hired, paid after 90 days of employment

                          • Slip seating Qualifications
                            • Must be at least 21 years of age
                            • Must have a high school diploma or GED
                              • Minimum 5 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED
                              • Must have valid CDL A License
                              • Minimum 6 months of verifiable CDL A driving experience
                              • Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
                                • No more than 3 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years
                                • No more than 2 preventable accidents (chargeable or not) in the last 3 years
                                • No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years
                                • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
                                • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
                                • Must be able to read, write and speak English
                                • Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 45 miles of Kansas City, MO or be willing to relocate for this position
